So for our civics class we must complete a active citizen project. What I and my group have chosen to tackle, is garbage and litter and its effects on the environment.
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is now about twice the size of Texas?
A vortex from california to hawaii that pretty much traps every bit of garbage ever thrown in the water. The garbage and plastic gets lodged if marine life such as jelly fish, and then continues up the food chain, and we all know how great that is.
Plastic now out weighs the amount of plankton on the surface of the water. In some places 48x more.
So here is all I ask you to do. Go out into your neighborhood and collect 3 pieces of plastic and dispose of it properly. Three. That is all I ask. Take a picture of you doing so and send it to me. I will make a video including all your pictures.

Having your best friends choose their douschebag boyfriend or ex boyfriend over you… Is fucking bogus. And I don’t even give them ultimatums or anything because I want them to make a choice naturally, and one that hopefully they will learn a lesson from. But to have plans with someone (me) and to have them cancel plans all the time because of the douschebag? It HURTS. That’s just fucking cruel. Pardon my French. I can’t trust anyone anymore.
